MetaKit now has a partner program, and it follows the same philosophy as the rest of the product: no opaque rules, no delayed spreadsheets, everything visible in the dashboard. You share an invite link, the person who signs up through it gets 40% off their first purchase, and you earn 15% of every payment they make — recurring, for as long as they stay subscribed.
This post walks through how attribution and commission actually work, what the partner portal shows you, and — honestly — who this program is a good fit for.
The deal, in numbers
MetaKit pricing is per account slot: $5/month for a read-only account, $10/month for a full account. So take one referral running four full accounts — $40/month:
- Their first month: 40% off, so they pay $24. You earn 15% of that — $3.60.
- Every renewal after: they pay the full $40. You earn $6.00/month.
- After one year: that single referral has paid you $69.60.
Ten referrals like that and you're at roughly $60/month of recurring commission for links you shared once. There's no cap on referrals and no expiry on the recurring share — commission stops only when the subscription does.
Two details worth noting because they're unusual in the honest direction:
- Commission is calculated on what was actually paid, after discounts — never on list price. That's why the first-month figure above is smaller.
- Commission accrues only when money clears. A signup earns nothing, a trial earns nothing, a failed payment earns nothing. When an invoice is actually paid, the 15% is credited to your balance the same moment — and if a payment is later refunded or charged back, the corresponding commission is reversed proportionally. Your ledger never shows money that didn't really happen.
How attribution works
Every partner gets an invite link of the form
app.metakit.cloud/r/YOUR-CODE, where the code is 4–24 letters, digits, or
dashes — you pick it, so it can be your channel name rather than a random
string. From there:
- Visits through the link are counted, so you can see which placement actually gets clicked.
- Signup through the link attributes that user to you. Attribution is first-touch: the first valid referral recorded for a user wins, permanently.
- Checkout applies the 40% first-purchase discount automatically. The code also works typed directly into the coupon field at checkout, which covers the case where someone heard the code on a video but never clicked the link.
Self-referral is blocked at both ends — you can't use your own code, and a second account registered through your own link earns nothing. It's the first thing everyone tries; it doesn't work.
The partner portal
The program lives inside the dashboard, on the Partnership page — there is no separate affiliate platform to sign up for. It shows:
- Headline stats — visits, signups, paying referrals, and earnings.
- Your codes — create and manage referral links, each with its own counters.
- The commission ledger — every credit, tied to the payment that produced it, including reversals. If a number moves, you can see exactly why.
- Payouts — once your balance reaches $50, you request a payout from the same page. Payouts are currently made via bank transfer or PayPal.
Who this is for
An affiliate program is only worth your time if your audience overlaps with the product's. MetaKit sits at a specific intersection — people who use MetaTrader 5 and want it programmable or automated — so the strongest fits look like this:

The weakest fit: audiences with no MT5 connection at all, and anything resembling bulk link-dropping. Coupon spam and cold DMs don't convert a developer tool — and they're against the program terms.
The rules that matter
The full terms are in Section 8 of our Terms & Conditions, but the short version is what you'd expect:
- No self-referral or artificial signups.
- No profit promises. You can say what MetaKit does; you can't imply that using it (or copying anyone through it) makes money. In a trading niche this is the rule regulators actually care about — disclose your affiliation and keep claims factual.
- The program is discretionary. We can change rates prospectively or end the program; commission already validly credited to your balance stays yours.

- Create a MetaKit account if you don't have one — partners are regular users, there's no separate application.
- Open Partnership in the dashboard and create your code.
- Put the link where your audience already is, and watch the visits column to learn which placement earns.
One link, shared once, that keeps paying 15% for as long as the referral subscribes — the recurring part is the whole point. Static bounties reward churn; a recurring share rewards sending people who genuinely stick around.
